Precisely cut from a single sheet of aluminum, each unit is faced with high impact powder coat or with an epoxy coated Tree Frog veneer allowing it to be used equally indoors or outdoors.

	Eight icons of design have joined forces with Orange22 Design Lab to launch the firm's Blank Canvas Project. All of the super high-profile designers have created new editions of Orange22's indoor-outdoor, eco-friendly Botanist furniture. Botanist matches each designer's royalty to a foundation or charity of their choice. The Albero designed by the Joseph Ricchio, features an array of branching symbolizing life.
What was your inspiration? The concept is my expression of the beauty of life. I chose a delicate and elegant branch with dew dropping off of it to represent earth, water and life. Why is it important for you to give back? DIFFA: Design Industry Fighting Aids. I have been donating to them for many years for a variety of reasons: 1 ) Larry Pond was the Director of Design at Stendig and introduced my first chair, he began DIFFA and has since died of AIDS, 2 ) I have a family member that is HIV positive and 3 ) I believe it is simply a good choice.
Design Benefits:
	A percentage of the sale of the Albero line goes to the Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS, one of the country's largest supporters of direct care for people living with HIV/AIDS and preventive education for those at risk.
